Following our visit to the museum, it was back to the hangar and a well earned comfort break, once we found the toilets. The afternoon started with a short briefing, with Powerpoint slides, on Wattisham and why and what the Army Air Corps were doing there. As well as two Apache Helicopters, one was tooled up and had armourers to talk about the weapons and the other had bits missing and REME personnel on hand, there were other displays around the hangar for us to visit. Surprised to find out that flying clothing and survival equipment was handled by the RAF with 2 SACs on the display. Outside, 22 Squadron had parked up one of their anniversary marked Sea Kings, which was nice.

Great pix of a nasty beast.
Thanks.
Just curious… any info on the first emblem in the background on photo 5 (the siren)? It looks a lot like the emblem of the city of Warsaw.
