Another very enjoyable legends, the opening Spitfire piece was legendary air show stuff and the following 3 short hours were packed with action right to the last spinning prop after the balbo had landed. Okay, aeroplane numbers were down but that fades into insignificance when what you do get are flown so wonderfullly. It was sunny to boot!
Nice to see this old girl again. A German Spit, who’d have thought?!
Spitfires galore – heaven!

Takkatakktakktakktakka….
All friends again..
Only very slightly less gorgous, those lovely Hurricanes..
Damn Yankees..

Ruskies too! The pugnacious Polikarpov was a most welcome sight (and sound!)

Doesn’t get much better than this!

Thank you all. I was standing to the far left (Eastern) end, elevated only by my legs!

Yes, marvellous shots; thanks for sharing. Some of the pictures seem to be taken from an elevated position, would you mind saying where you were standing?
Regards

7 months after the show is a long time, but it was well worth waiting for. Thanks for posting!
