RAF Cottesmore – Harrier farewell

Hello,

During the final 3 flying days, I visited RAF Cottesmore to capture the Harriers once more and for the last time.
Here are some images of those days I took on base.
The entire photo report is online at http://www.aimhigh.nl

The fact they are retiring the harriers is proof that your current crop of Govt. morons also suffer from “Anal Glaucoma” ie; thier heads are so far up thier ass they cant see a thing.

Where now the Harriers?

Great pics of a worthy aircraft on it’s swan song.

Think the powers-that-be could use those ruddy great hangars to mothball the fleet for when the Argies decide to have another go at the Malvinas

Christian -nice pictures -I particularily like the picture of ‘477’ – I was very happy to see her wear this scheme being one of the members of the servicing team that carried out her last U.K Minor servicing.
