Despite the poor Dominie absent with a sick chit and the King Air now on ‘jankers’ for not turning up, they forgot, there was an excellent line up for the 7th Northolt night shoot non the less. 2x 19 Squadron Hawks in 95th Anniversary markings and possibly the last public outing for a Royal Navy Jetstream with the DHFS Squirrel as a night shoot debutante. The Met chopper timed it nicely to arrived just as we all poured out onto the airfield. As the Jetstream wound up, a crash truck turned up for fire guard and after the Jetstream had departed, the crash truck took its place in the static with light flashing. Many thanks Phil, Lee, Jez and the volunteers for an excellent couple of hours.

Why don’t they do anything like this at Boscombe Down?
There are dozens of rare and/or important aircraft to photograph there!

Very nice. Pin sharp. The orange colour of the light gives that wonderful night atmosphere.
