Got stuck in traffic on Saturday and could not get in, so I made a return trip on Sunday. Very glad I did because the Spitfire display was the best I have ever seen. The Hurricane display was also excellent.
Make up your own caption for the first picture, my favourite is un-printable.:D

Thank you for the comments and caption. The camera body I use is a Canon 50D with either a Sigma 120-400 F4.5/5.6 or Sigma 18-250 F3.5/6.3 lens.

Stunning photography KNT – what gear do you use?
“Typical – I spend one weekend in a Hastings hotel with the groundsheet, and miss the bloody invasion!”…

The whole series looks like frame from a movie
The first pic: A jump in time… looks so.. authentic.
Nice lighting on the first Dutch Spitfire… very cinematographic.
The Spitfire formation… another busy day in September… 1940. Great shot.
I really need to spend a summer in the U.K. Great shots. Thanks.
