The weatherman promised cloudy sunshine but we didn’t see much sun.
Here are a few of the shots that came out. I hope someone posts some of the glider display which drew spontaneous applause. Mine were not crisp enough.

When I showed this to my wife and moaned about the greyness of the sky she asked why I didn’t I use Photoshop to turn it blue…

One of the highlights of the day was Peter Holloway’s Storch which had only recently received its permit to fly.
‘It hung in the sky the way bricks don’t’ as the saying goes*

The Deperdussin makes a fast low pass…the light level was so low that the shutter speed was down to 1/100 second
