Oshkosh Sloshkosh

Well it eventually stopped raining last Sunday to make way for another great week’s total aviation. The worst rain for 10 years meant only those with access to hard-standing could fly in for the first few days. Fortunately, a few strings pulled, and we got a space behind the north hangars.
Arrived on Sunday in time to see the DC-3 mass arrival.
Most of my pics are on http://s157.photobucket.com/albums/t50/alberym/Oshkosh%202010/?start=all

LOved the photos of the Eastern Airlines DC-3. Reminded me of when they used to fly into Nashville, TN back in my much younger days.:)

WB981 – Google Osa’s Ark and all will be revealed.

No. 10 is the Seafire. A beautiful restoration job and a privilege to see it there. Unfortunately I left before I was able to see her airborne.

A great selection mate! I like your departure from the normal stock shots, excellent! (and great subjects too!)
