Hi guys. Here’s my selection of images from the RAF Cosford Airshow 2010. I will post a video later too as I was mainly concentrating on that while quickly grabbing my stills camera to get a few shots.
The video will show the rain that came as the Harrier took off. Blimey! That was a downpour of monsoon proportions!
I did manage to shoot video and stills as the rain came in though, and the Spitfire pilot did a great job flying in the heavy rain in formation with the Eurofighter, as did the Harrier pilot for his display.
I hope that I haven’t posted too many pictures, but I thought I’d share some of them.
Video will be online about 1pm.

Cheers, MP

Very nice indeed MP. You got the Spit/Typhoon pairing very well 🙂

Nice pics there MP, some interesting effects in the horrible weather. I think the BBMF and Typhoon pilots deserved a giant pat on the back for continuing their routines in that weather, not to mention everything that displayed afterwards include the Stearman wingawalkers that must have got a real good soaking!

And here’s the (very) edited footage I shot. This was chopped down from 2-hours to 10 minutes to fit in with Youtube.
Pretty much a very edited highlights of the show, in-between taking pictures.
