Yes, it’s a Heron. I think it’s owned by an american.

If I’m not mistaken, that is actually a Riley Heron, must be a fairly rare flying survivor itself.

Wonderful pictures and especially good juxtapositions of old and new. I love the Hunter, a great favourite, and the Dove and the Pembroke and the rest. And what marvellous weather!:)

I wrote Dove but meant Heron – but I always felt they were just such pretty aircraft and I had the pleasure of rides in both many years ago.

Yes, Robert, I’m aiming for Linköping. I think that will be the greatest Swedish airshow for years to come.
I was standing at the “jet apron” and was wandering between there and where the Spitfire was refueling.

I didn’t realise that there were two Vampires airworthy over there.
The Pembroke looks fantastic, there is at least one Pembroke flying in the UK, G-BNPH which was reported at the Duxford spring show this year. I have heard that Classic Flights example might be grounded at the moment
I can’t say this enough, but I really must get to Sweden!

You have managed to produce some good stuff again. I always loved the Hunter and somehow find the Lansen invoking the same feelings in me. A beautiful aircraft well presented, and unique as well. I don’t think that is the world’s only airworthy Pembroke as we have two ex 60 Squadron examples in this country, both of which were airworthy until recently. As far as I am aware at least one of them, if not both, still flies.
