Sad sight? leaving the RAF and being retired yes sad, but definately not sad that she is going to be preerved live at a museum and be cared for by loving hands rather than being gutted and chopped to bits like many others?:confused:

No was passing (more or less!) in the truck not long after,was delayed loading in hull. Only got the blue B now, the one in front of the Jav in the YAM thread i chucked on a few weeks back. Still hopeful of seeing one of the other rods on delivery, would just have been nice to see the ‘local’ one…

Yeah got there ok, even got the last bus out. Which is good as Ive walked back to York before and its further than you think.

Just with you saying you just missed it, thought that may have been you in the Red MGB that I saw coming in as I was leaving.

You still have chance to see the others being deliverd.
