The “Bud” Evans Commemorative Fly-in at Breighton.
Light winds and blue sky ensured this was very well attended by pilots bringing a good variety of aircraft. In between the arrivals and departures many of the Breighton based aircraft took to the sky.
The event was to celebrate the life of DIY aircraft builder William ‘Bud’ Evans, designer of the Evans VP-1.
