Dawlish 20th August

A few pics I took from The Smuggler’s Inn car park yesterday. I couldn’t get close to the cliffs, and this is pretty much the best I’ve been able to wring out of the S6500. Images, if clicked on, are 1360×768

That’s it!

There are a few more, maybe more tomorrow, on my photosite.

It wasn’t a bad day, especially being in the pub car park! Barbeque on tap, and free parking.

The Merlin made a very dramatic entrance to the static park, coming up from below the cliffs, and a Red Arrow Hawk came straight over the top of the pub and a very low level and set us all off jumping out of our skins (getting me to jump any height at all is a bloody miracle these days – never mind out of my skin – I must weigh about the same as a fully fuelled Vulcan)!
