Sorry, its another RTW thread! I hope you don’t mind, as we have 2 superb other threads on the go!
But with FS collecting dust after me going back to Uni, and with 4 weeks of nothing (:diablo: ) to do, i thought, during a drunken night last week to do a RTW trip, using as much airlines associated with the Star Alliance!
So today i start, and over the course of the next 4 weeks, i hope to use as many airlines as i can, and visit as many countries as i can, whilst using only payware aircraft! All flights will be on VATSIM, using real world callsigns!
And it began in Manchester 10am this morning, with me flying “Midland 2 Papa Kilo!”
Stand 18 for my A319
LISTO1S departure off 06L
Great view of the Terminals, from seat 1A!
Finals for 09L at LHR
Touchdown!
Then it was a dash over to Terminal 3, to fly Air Canada 861 to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Stand 340 for my 767
CPT6J departure from LHR
After an uneventfull Atlantic Crossing, here appeared the icy/rocky terrain of Nova Scotia!
Finals for 24, with a stern crosswind
The 6 hour cross-over ends gracefully!
This will continue to Toronto in real life, i don’t, its off to the States for me tomorrow morning!
So that concludes a nice first day. 3 legs are planned for tomorrow, stay tuned for some more shots too! 🙂

nice shots Elgan to end your Star Alliance trip 11 days and 36759 Miles nice one 😎
So, where to OneWorld fly to?……………………………….
Looking at that map I think the Southern Hemisphere needs a visit;)

So despite the fact that i thought up the idea when i was drunk, my word i enjoyed it! The major factor was the worldwide network that Star Alliance carriers offer!
I flew many airlines, sadly not all, but i touched bmi, Air Canada, United, Ted, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana, Thai, Singapore, Austrian/Lauda, and Lufthansa, which isn’t bad at all 😀
I kept a log of my flights via the data on the FMC, and i clocked up 36759 Miles in 11 days! :dev2:
The map below is a superb graphical description of my travels

So, it was an excellent way to end 2006. I hope you enjoyed the shots!
