Oh thanks for the additional info! Also I apologise for my mistake in calling it a rapide when it was dragon. 🙂

No this Dragon lives out Rencombe way I believe. The Duxford ones are all (Dragon)Rapides.

Thanks very much! Is that one of the Duxford ones? It was a surprise to see as i’ve not seen a Rapide over MK before. It came from the south and headed north. I thought it may of been going to Sywell.
Lovely photo aswell. 😎

No Rapides at Halton either, so by process of elimination I think what you may have was DH.84 Dragon G-ECAN!

Aw okay thanks very much for the reply.
Was a delight to see a rapide flying over!

Sorry no Rapides up from us today – must have been from The Moth Club Rally at RAF Halton not far down the road. 🙂

Did the Classic Flight Rapide fly today? If so it must of been that which I saw fly over Milton Keynes.

Thanks for the quick plug Anthony. I should just say though that tickets are limited to 40 and must be brought in advance, tickets sales close at the end of office hours Friday (i.e. tomorrow). This is due to the fact that we will be having no fencing etc erected on the airfield so each visitor will need to be escourted by a volunteer. The theme of the event is a rare oppertunity to take pictures of female models in period clothing posing in front of suitable aircraft, currently there are 10 models booked. Hope to see some of you on Saturday.

It’s a shame about the pricing, I’ll be in Wolverhampton, staying with family, for the Cosford ding-dong on the 14th. Unfortunately I won’t be able to afford to visit Coventry too – which is a shame. I’m disabled.
