There was quite a lot of space down by ARCo and the brick building by the gate came in handy to shelter behind. The weather is the weather and did its thing and well done to all the pilots, especially those from Old Warden, for braving the winds.
The only down side to the day for me was that I must have touched the ISO button on the top of my camera and adjusted the ISO, instead of shutter speed, to 800 and about a third of my shots even Neat Image can’t do anything with. A lesson once learned.

So you do make the odd mistake ?:p;):diablo:
Hmm… When did I claim to be perfect? I didn’t. Of course I make mistakes, I’m just experienced enough to not make them as often as I used to and I try let that knowledge benefit other people, if they’re open minded enough to want to learn and improve that is. 😉

Or better still, avoid using that tool at all! Simple Levels adjustment should be all a reasonably well exposed image really needs.
Damned ISO button! A silly mistake but we’ve all made them and will probably continue to do so (3 years ago I spent an entire day at LHR with the top focus point selected and then wondered why my photos weren’t as sharp as I’d have expected… Idiot!) High ISO or not, you’ve produced some very nice images that are a pleasure to view. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

Watch out for ghosting when using the shadow/highlights tool though. 😉

You’ve got some nice shots there Brian! Great angles on the B-25 and the 146 shot is quite striking too.
Watch out for ghosting when using the shadow/highlights tool though. 😉
