Duxfords spring Airshow 09

A few from the crowd line up at the Land Warfare end . A big thank you must go to all the pilots and crew for putting on a really tight show in less than ideal conditions. The tower crew should also be applauded for there efforts in avoiding any lenghty gaps. In no particular order.

I really struggled with the Gnats, this was the best of a bad bunch. they were too distant and light was particularly bad at the time. As for the ghosting the D300 has an issue with anything red, I will have a go at reprocessing the shot tomorrow.

Ah that’s what it is is it? I thought it was tiredness or excess alcohol making my eyes go funny:D

I did not know about the issue with the D300 and red colours. Your processing, particularly the shadows on all your photos, is excellent

Very nice pics pics Gary, though i do see a slight evidence of ghosting arround the two Gnats.

I was at the M11 end.

Just waiting for the much hyped heat wave now, as the two displays I have attended this year have both made photographing aircraft somewhat challenging.:eek:
