Fleet Air Arm 100th aniversary London

Some shots of the Navy celebrations in Greenwich London this weekend.
These are my first attempts with MY DSLR so I am still learning and I think a few need adjusting a bit. I also found it hard to blur both the tail rotor and the main rotor, Any suggestions?

I use 400/500 for jets, sometimes higher. This blures the background if there is any but is fast enough to capture the jet without blurring it.

For any prop I use a shutter speed of 250 or below. This generally blurs all the blades. The lower you go the more blur you get,but of course this can lead to blured aircraft as well.

I was more about 400 for most of the shots and 500 for a few, Spent ages changing settings, Which I think is far easier on the canon as opposed to my old Fuji S8000.
