Was late last night…forgot to say that on the front of the tucano pitot probe you can just make out two small swivelling ‘vanes’ for measuring ‘sideslip’ and ‘angle of attack’ when being used by ETPS.

The Tucano is from Boscombe Down and used by the Empire Test Pilots School and HATS (heavy a/c test sqn).
Yes not many a/c left now with a nice colour scheme,and I dont know how long they will last 😡
The PC9 is based at BAE Warton

Why is the Tucano in the (much nicer) old trainer sceme ?
Is that a PC-7 or similar, is it a trial ?
