I don’t need to say which one I like the most. But they are all great pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us for all these years Darren.

Yes the shot with the 2 Stieglitzes is even better than the other very good pictures.

Wonderful views Darren thanks, I do get to fly and take photos in my line of work however North Scotland is packed with scenery with few aircraft for air to air. So I still have some envy !

Hi Gary,
I flew out of Inverness earlier this year on an air to air with the Highland flying school with one of the Tomahawks they fly there. The weather was shocking, but we got the shots and the scenery was wonderful, even in rubbish weather. Loch Ness is quite a sight from the air!

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the comments.
I am very fortunate to have Peter Holloway’s support for my photography, and he quite often flies me in his magister for shoots. The two Stiggies were shot from a super Cub belonging to the QUAX visitors. I would be very happy to shoot your friends subjects when you are next over. Please PM me your details, so we can keep in touch.

Absolutely gorgeous stuff, Darren!
I especially love the one of the P-51 escorting Liberty Belle ‘home’. How evocative! You should win prizes with that one!! 😉
I’m sending the thread to a group of enthusiasts over here, with a recommendation that they contact you when next over with their somewhat historic machines.

Look forward to seeing more – much more – in these columns in future.
