Courtesy of the Forces Development Squadron at RAF Wyton, I was part of an official visit to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Rather than post a Lancaster heavy thread, which I could have, here’s a small selection of other exhibits that are displayed around the site as there is far more to the centre than ‘Just Jane’. Many thanks to Martin and Andrew for a look see inside NX611. On our way home we had a little detour to Woodhall Spa to visit the 617 Sqn memorial.

Hello Pen Pusher
Excellent Photography. I’ve said this before, but some of the wreckage on display in some museums should be in an art gallery. Talking of which, check out: http://www.flickr.com/photos/primed_minister/1607485334/
Not sure who is the photographer, but excellent arty photography.
