The great British weather struck again at Old Warden with gloom and low cloud. The T28, Gnat and even Hawk could not make it. The middle bit of the runway was too soft for the Sea Hurricane to take off. Only 15 miles down the A1 it was bright and 10 miles further it was sunny. Can’t be helped.
In terms of non Shuttleworth participation, it was more like a spring air show but I was surprised when the Vampire turned up.
Since the Hawk could not display, perhaps a Typhoon instead for the August pageant?
Nevertheless quite an enjoyable day.
I will post a few more images tomorrow.
