Have you lost two photo CD's of US aircraft?

I have two CD’s of American military Aircraft and I need to find the owner if I can.

I work for a Postal company in Hertfordshire, UK and these disks were found loose just after Christmas 2007. I could not find then until now due to decorating my house.

There is no identifying name or address or any other ownership details on the disks even after clicking on properties.

If these are yours then please PM me with details of what else is on these disks and I will try and get them back to you, their rightful owner.

Below are a small selection of pictures all of which I believe are photographed in the States at different air bases/ships.

Thanks for your help in solving this mystery Ironfan.

Please pass on my thanks to the guys on fencecheck.com

The disks will be destroyed after I have found a programe that will open a Canon file that is also on the disk. I cannot tell you what it is at the moment as I am at work.
Perhaps someone can open it for me and see if it reveals anything. I will check later today.

StevenH, how do you arrive at the B52 is at Mildenhall when the background is all sky, just a thought?

That B57 shot looks more like it’s at RAF Mildenhall to me.

Some of those North Island shots look like a friend of mine’s, which has been confirmed here,

http://www.fencecheck.com/forums/index.php/topic,16109.0.html

As he states he never sent a CD and it looks like the photos were “stolen” from the web so maybe they should be lost forever!

Cheers,
ironfan

You are absolutly correct, what bugs me is I’m old enough to remember the days when the B-58 was in service so I should know better. Or should I say ‘you spotted the deliberate error, well done’? The B-58 as I recall was so fast that even with the velocity the rounds left the rear facing cannon the rounds were still travelling in the same direction as the aircraft.

You might want o put this at the a.net forum since there are a lot of photographers there. If you got no account there let me know and I will copy/paste the message there.

Thanks for the offer tenthije.

I believe that site is a subscription only and I not willing to do that.

Yes please, post on there and if no one claims them then I will either put them in a drawer and forget about them or destroy them.

Thanks.

The first three pictures are taken at NASA.

All locations are in the USA.

Could the B-58 be at Lakenheath? Or Mildenhall?

Agreed, some good photos. I must say the B-58 looks horrible with those turbofans.

Serves their purpose! Shuttle could be Stansted, no, sorry wrong type of grass, probably is U.S., good photos!:D
