I used to frequent airliners.net in search of pictures of the Hawker Hurricane but there seems to be a dramatic reduction in the number of images posted there (Plus they seem to be going commercial and making it harder to find photos).
What sites are recommended for finding Historic Aircraft photos? Flikr seems to be a good source. Others?

Thanks for the suggestions on sites to find images in. I have been having good success in flikr and webshots. The images on airliners.net were generally very high quality but since there recent “changes” downloading has become more of a pain (I believe you now have to purchase a registration to download the full resolution version of their images).
Robbo- thanks for the images of Z7015, I like the second one with the reflections on the wings, gives you a great appreation of the manufacturing processes.

www.jetphotos.net is airliners.net’s largest competitor. Also large is http://www.planepictures.net/, but their search engine is less advanced.
