Shuttleworth Military Air Pageant 5th August

My re-enactment group, who portray the Leicestershire Regiment 1944-45 were invited to the Shuttleworth Collection for the Military Air Pageant which was held yesterday. Had a fantastic day and hopefully be there again next year.

One of the best BSA M20’s i’ve ever seen, even smelt fantastic (probably the oil dripping off it though causing that)

This was my favourite aircraft there, the Avro Triplane. Another great thing about Shuttleworth was the atmosphere there in the hangars, and interesting photos on the wall too, especially of the results of the WWI bombing raids in the UK

Two questions about the hats – why are they so huge, and where can I get one?!

Bristol fighter – my first go at ground to air photography, think it worked fairly well (had to use full zoom as I was stood on our display taking these)
