Just back from a 2 weeks holiday in Scotland. Believe it or not, we had good weather. I was a bit surprised not to find any pictures of the Airshow at East Fortune on july the 28th. So here are a few (I have almost used my 5MB space). The day started with a lot of sunshine. During the display of the Red Arrows (the first display of the show!!) it turned cloudy. Around 16:00hrs the Guinot team was trying to make the most of it in a serious shower. All in all a show with something for everyone.

No traffic problems. Good atmosphere, good commentator, weather typical East Lothian! My photos too big to post here-I’ve yet to figure out how to downsize them.

East Fortune
Rained for the last hour or so but still a good day.
Glad to see the Lanc made it but sadly not the Spitfire or Hurricane.
Euro fighter was immense and I always think it puts on a better show when its raining.
Good to see them have a Ticket policy that worked this time instead of having to wait ages in a queue.
All in all, a good day out.

There’s no doubt that it is an eye catching colour scheme which I used to dislike but the more I see it the less I would like it to change. Some nice pics there.

Good to see Jon Whaley has still not bowed to the pressure to repaint the Hunter. I LOVE G-PSST……
I was at Sunderland Airshow at the time of East Fortune… Heard good reports though! Any more pics?
