Today, June 15, I was at the “Open Dagen” of the Royal Netherlands Airforce at Volkel. The day started with low clouds en a few showers. Later that day, the weather got better and better (I even got a little sunburn), much better than expected. The show was a nice mix of everything. Here are a few of my first airshow pictures made with my recently acquired 100-400 lens.

You had better weather than we suffered in the UK (deluged is putting it mildly). Thanks for posting these pics – refreshing to see some silver airframes for a change. The DC-2 is superb – I last saw that example when it visited Duxford back in the 80s (well before it was exported to Holland). Glad to see its airworthy again.
