Much appreciated Albert. Nice to have something to remember how lucky I’ve been!
Best wishes,

B*gger!, B*gger!, B*gger!!
I had been taking photos of my model Mi-26 – with spotlights, so the camera was set to Tungsten.
I forget to switch back to AWB – so all my photos of GVFW have come out BLUE !!!
I have done the best I can with the balance….
Here are the pics of the three Chrisleas…..

Taking blue pictures again Ken? Don’t worry the ‘cavalry’ comes to your rescue

Chrislea seemingly made just 12 aeoplanes (I was told) and so the survival ratio is pretty impressive for such a ‘distinctive’ type. As the saying goes, if it looks right , it flies right and yes, apparently these fly quite unpleasantly, though the Jeep a little better, since it has conventional controls.
That G-CEAR is a beautiful thing, has a touch a Falco about it.

Thanks everyone for posting these piccies – nice to see proper aeroplanes! 😀
That G-BJEL looks a strange beast – I like it. Should have been no surprise when I looked it up and found it was French! Shame to have missed the Swallow.

I only saw two of them together (AKUW and AKVR). We had already left when the third one came in..
Does anyone have some action shots of OPNH? I’m very interested to see some.;)

Did anyone manage to get a photo of the three Chrisleas together?
I flew up on the Saturday and missed them, but would like to see a photo of the three of them together. Surely something that has never been seen before. Having flown in both Super Ace G-AKVF and SkyJeep G-AKVR, this would be nice to see.

I was there on the Sunday – when the 3rd one arrived.
I’ll dig out the piccies and post them……

VX927 – took a few on the arriving ones but the ones that were already on the ground had far to many people around during the public access time.
If you arrived between 10am and 12.30 then I may have taken a pic or 2.
