The first photo is of a Poppy i saw near Duxford as we walked back to Whittlesford, I think it sums up what the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is about. Gerald Stapleton with the Falcons and children sums up the Day very well as does the Lancaster with a crowd around her, How many times can you say at Duxford that more people were flight side than public side, It was the BBMF where is belongs with the public.
Thank you to all involved it was a amazing day, It was a dream come true seeing all the BBMF together and to see the Lancaster lead in the 7 fighters, Words can not express such a sight.
Hope people do not mind me posting some photo’s they not the best was my first Aircraft attempt with the S5600.

Yeah, prop blur is difficult to get on the S5x’s because there is no anti-shake, the best I was ever able to achieve is probably this at Exeter in 2003.
Thats the type of blur im hoping for.

very nice pics there, wish i could have gone. But i was at home ill:(
I like the fly past withe the eurofighter/spitfire. Better than last years with the F-16.
Thanks.
Biggin Hill is also due to have the Eurofighter Typhoon/Spitfire combination, Its the only other show to have this after BBMF Day at DX, RIAT has something planned too so should be plenty of chances to see some special things involving the BBMF this year.

Martin,
Those shots are very good for your first attempt with the S5600. How are you finding the camera?
Thanks for the complements.
I am enjoying using the Camera so far, Have used it on various days out mostly photo’ing London and have find it gets pretty good results. Was unsure how i would be at a Airshow with it.
It was intresting using at Duxford as found it had far less shutter lag than the S602 i owned, Which ment i messed up a few photos and im still learning to blur props with it.
