I thought I would post these as a homage to the Tuskegee airmen honoured today.

Nice pics! Pretty day for flying!
Here is a shot of mine of a 51-C in Tuskeegee war paint! (Kermit Weeks Collection) They had a nice little movie of the refurbishment of the A/C and the pilot of this aircraft on hand for it’s first flight in HIS colors.

go4b17 – thanks for taking the time to look and comment , I like to try and get good prop blur and yes it would have been better if she had been in the correct colour.
Mark V- thanks for commenting , I thought I had read she was to be repainted but I wasn’t sure – bet she looks fantastic ! as soon as I get the chance to see her I will re-do and re-post .
thanks again.
regards
John

would be great if this 51 was painted in Tuskegee Colors !
Its just been re-painted, as ‘Jumpin Jacques’ – finished a couple of days ago!
Nice photos BTW – how about re-doing them all in the new ‘corrected’ scheme?

particularly great shots – very good attention to detail capturing the prop disc – gives an image so much more movement -awesome ,would be great if this 51 was painted in Tuskegee Colors !
