Edwards AFB airshow 2006

Something to keep us warm through winter:

The spectator area:

This year we photographers were pushed a very long way from the runway because of the size of the Thunderbirds display box, combined with the heat haze this zapped quite a few photos:

A few nice NASA aircraft, though not as many as last year. The entire programme was noticeably thinner than last year:

Now that they’re actually banking at shows, I’ve been able to get the best F-117 shots I’ve ever managed:

Nice angle on this A-10, taken from the spectator area:

Sold a bunch of F-22 Raptor photos recently for a nice wad of $$$$, if you’re a shoe fetishist then you’ll see them in Sole Collector magazine (no kidding!):

The mass flyby was also rather thin, but did yield some nice shots:

Here’s a slightly different angle on the Thunderbirds’ sneak pass:

These are amazing pictures man 😮 , thanks so much for sharing 😉

My favourite shots are the banking F117 and bomber formation (B1-B52):D
