Its a Saturday, its raining and boredom set in so I looked back over my pictures from airshows 2006 and have selected my favourite 10 which I hope appeal….. they are from Lydd, Dunsfold, Kemble and Koksijde
More pictures can be seen on my website http://www.aviationphoto.co.uk – would appreciate any feedback on the site – is it user friendly/too wordy/boring/excellant design???!!!
Finally the best show I went to for very close afterburner action was the Koksijde Spotters Day in Belgium – best for quality of light, variety and atmosphere in the UK was Dunsfold – any favourites out there anyone wishes to share??

That is one of the downsides of such a large country. The transit distances involved for some of the dislay acts would render their attendance unviable purely from an economic aspect. It’s a shame really as I have always found Canadians to have a great love and respect for their history and heritage. It would be nice if their airshow scene could be a bit busier though.

Very nice indeed! I am jealous as here in Canada, we don’t have the wide selection of Airshows found in Europe.
