Managed to snap a few pics inbetween flights at our first ever bonfire night event.

We really couldn’t have hoped for better weather and the response of the passengers was fantastic so we have already added this to the calander for 2007.

Cheers guys.
The next public Shack run will be on December 17th. see our website for details.
I think we will be doing more night time runs in the future, possibly also firing up the DC6 at the same time.

Lovely pics Tom.
The Dak is wonderful, but the Growler….wow!
When’s she next running?

I think you guys deserve a standing ovation with keeping the mighty “Growler” operational!

The Dak pics are nice but child of the eighties and all that I am in love with the Shackleton pic, the only thing missing is the wind beneath her wings.
Regards,
John.

Heard the Dak rumbling away yesterday on the night air – 10 miles away. Didn’t know the Shack was still being attended and run.

Superb pics; the Dak in the sunset is so inspiring.

wonderful pics Tom – did you go flying in the dark? – wish I could have been there for a trip!
Yes I’m sure it was the Dak that came looking around the outskirts of Bulkington for some free fireworks, it must have been like heavy flak coming up in the Dakota. was up both saturday night and Sunday night. i had to halt the rockets we was sending up due to a very low 737 and then the Dak overflew us . 🙂
Any picture’s from the air to ground of Bulkington Would be nice to see.
