I had a very nice PM from Barrythemod on Monday afternoon, saying he was looking forward to some of my photographs, so’s not to leave him in suspense for too long here are a few movers and shakers from today’s arrivals for this years Airshow
VIP AN2
Catalina Aircraft Ltd’s PBY-5A (G-PBYA) spent the afternoon taking sponsors on various flights around the island.

As did a number of AAC Lynx’s
No Jersey airshow is complete without the Dukes and their B25, they return every year.
Jersey resident Martin Willing and his T28 Fennec.
Swept Wing’s superb Gnat T1 XR538 (G-RORI).
Other vintage jet trainers are available, in the form of 2 Belgian Magisters.

Or if your thing is a little bit more modern

A couple especially for Mr Young.

And a few more
Tuncano T1

Scandanavian Historic Flight A26 Invader

And P51D “Old Crow”

G-BKOU Group’s Provost T3. According to a chap (with a Scouse accent) not far from where I was stood, this was one of the Red Arrows. I moved away quickly 🙂
Grob G115E Tutor, I was amazed by how agile this little aircraft is.
Sally B hasn’t returned to the Channel Islands since she got stuck in Guernsey a few years ago, I can undertand why. SO we have to make do with Forteresse Toujours Volante’s B17G Pink Lady
The first of the BBMF to arrive was their DC3. Unfortunately I had to shoot of to attend to my husbandly chores and collect the present MRS EN830 from work, and missed the arrival of the rest of the team.

And the last one for tonight. Harrier’s GR7 ZD467 and ZD322 from the Joint Force Harrier unit at Cottesmore.

With any luck I’ll post some of the flying display tomorrow evening.
