A busy weekend with the Old Warden Flying Proms and then Duxford. I have still yet to do the proms pics (as well as RIAT and Legends!). Here are some form Duxford, until I get around to the others.
The Spitfire Day at Duxford was finally blessed with some clearer sky for aviation, and two Spitfires put on flying displays. (MK XVI TD248 and a BBMF MkXIX PM631)
We were also blessed with the debut of the new HFL Spitfire MJ271.
Lets start with a young Merlin operator (his dad knows a thing or too about these as well!)

Classic wing doing the normal flights, but I just like the picture.

Ref the first picture, i’ll bet the young boys dad is proud, priceless, as to the owner of the engine, to have faith in one so young.
Start them young.
