I can hope that someone at Key is paying attention – what’s up with the sign in page? I am taken by a different route every time I want to log in to the Historic Aviation forum, and it gets very frustrating trying to decipher if Log In means my user name, the full e-mail address I use for this account, or what. This morning at one point the site was demanding that I create an entire new profile and enter my “membership number” into the bargain …
There is also the annoying issue that threads I read through are not marked as Read, and still show the same number of “new” postings after I read to the end and click back on the forum home page. Seriously, guys …

It seems that some of the more annoying issues have been fixed – I can now click through posts and not have them keep showing up as Unread; and log-in is a tiny bit easier. *pinkie claps*

This subforum had “no new posts” marking but I clicked it anyway and found “1 new post” (yours) within it. That’s “random” to me !

I’d never noticed it being completely random until yesterday, although I had noticed the odd one that I’d already read appear.
Sometime yesterday they cleared and then in the evening a new, different, batch turned up as unread.
They’ve cleared this morning, leaving one genuine unread…

The “new post” count is totally random and has been from day one of the new version of the forum. I have also called for a “mark all new posts as read” button, which seems to be too difficult but everyone else can!

It now seems completely random whether I’m logged in or not.
I looked just now and it said there were loads of new unread posts.
I read the only two there were this morning, but on the first page alone the hopeless software has now decided there are 27 unread posts going back over a week.

I agree about the login in you have to mess around with it to get logged in.. frustrating..
