So was the plane, but some people have achieved their goal with perseverance and probably a lot of luck!

Those old type FDRs had a metal tape on which about 6 parameters were engraved. I’m not sure if they will retrieve much information now.
The CVR tape is probably decomposed. They also look very badly damaged from the pictures.
