Qantas today retired its last Boeing 767 widebody jetliner, almost 30 years after the type entered its fleet.

I’ve done a few miles in the B767 – always a sturdy, comfortable aircraft and very pleasant to fly in.
I had no idea the type had been in production for thirty years, though. It seems much younger.

Now that’s enough to make you feel old.
I’ve always thought of the 767 as a “new-ish” type.
Heck, some of my books mention it as a future aircraft.
