Planes set for bumpier rides, due to increasing turbulence

An article in the Telegraph warns that due to global warming we should expect more air turbulence.

Is this going to affect air travel, or is this really another scare story to get more grants?

A computer model is only as good as its input data, and because no one really knows how the climate of the North Atlantic will change over the next 50 years it’s good to take the research with a pinch of salt.

Well it’s all based on computer modelling, which has proved next to worthless over recent years. I wouldn’t get too concerned yet…….;)
