EMERGENCY – British Airways 6F

Flightradar24 shows SHT6f (BA 6f/1488) from LHR to GLA descensing rapidly and, as it seems, diverting to Manchester. The aircraft is A320 G-EUUJ – any pics, or does anyone know what happened?

hmm, flightradar on twitter has this to say:

Squawk 7700 (general emergency). G-EUUJ (British Airways A320) from London to Glasgow http://www.flightradar24.com

So something happened, maybe pressuristation if it had that fast a dive?

I’m sure something will show up on the AAIB site at some point in the future if its serious enough.

Must have been. There’s been nothing on the news this morning.

Most likely a non-event, as with 99.99% of these types of “incidents”
