Luckily ended up in the over run, cleared and graded area, designed to allow the pilot to slow the aircraft safely in an event such as this……….:rolleyes:

You’re not kidding:eek: What the hell was he doing? As you say, thankfully no serious casualties. Its sad to see how some of these once proud ‘limos of the sky’ have ended up. Those pics are enough to make yer weep…I need a drink:(
All joking aside, I guess one of the causes may turn out to be mechanical failure. Even tried and tested Grumman engineering will eventually succumb to maintenance standards in the good ol’ DR of Congo:rolleyes:
