How does the actual space available for passenger accommodation compare between 747SP and 777-200?
747SP is slightly wider (cabin width 610 cm on any 747, 590 cm on 777) and has upper deck. But its length is 56,3 m, compared to 777-200 63,7 m.
Maximum no-frills seating is 440 on both. But this is exit limited in both cases. How would the non-exit-limited passenger accommodations, at equal level of comfort, compare?

I’m a bit confused by your actual question, as you already know the answer to the ‘detailed cabin capacity’
So they can’t actually fit in any more passengers…..
Yes. But as I pointed out above, it is the exit limited capacity – 440 seat 747SP and 777-200 may equally be unable to add more seats, but this does not mean those 440 are in equal comfort.

I have flown on several 747s, two of which were SPs. I don’t recall any real difference between the two versions from an economy passengers point of view, except for the cabin length, which wasn’t obvious if you were sitting down. I’m pretty sure that one of the SPs that I flew on, a CAAC one I think, had the longitudinal galley arrangement.

Before your curt reply, I was trying to be helpful, the 747SP has the same cabin dimensions to the standard 747 (other than length). So it should be relatively easy to work out

Further in answer to your question, how long is a piece of string? How many seats can you fit in!? Well you have partly answered your own question,
There is simply no guarantee that a comparable suggestion for 777-200 capacity would use exactly the same distribution of cabin space between classes, pitches and widths of business and first classes, galley and toilet area etc..
You will need to know how much each door space is taken up up for the length of each cabin. You already know the cabin dimensions ( a 10sec google picked them up for me 42.27 m length in case you were wandering)
As for the sites:
Have you tried asking on the first site?
It already has detailed cabin capacity on it of various operators.

No, it isn´t. Point at specific, detailed cabin capacity data at the upper link.
What the lower link gave (checked before your unhelpful suggestion) is:
Seating capacity 331 (28 first, 303 economy)
However, this kind of standard suggested capacity is notorious for not being comparable. There is simply no guarantee that a comparable suggestion for 777-200 capacity would use exactly the same distribution of cabin space between classes, pitches and widths of business and first classes, galley and toilet area etc….
So. Any real apples to apples comparison?
