I flew on a Thomson 737-800 to Sharm El Sheikh in March and it had the new Sky Interior. I think it was G-TAWB. Flew back on a 757 and it had no leg room – it was terrible. Your flight to Punta Cana will be on 767-300 I would imagine.

Some planes are mid 90’s built being the oldest where was some 737’s are brand new this year.

No i wasnt expecting a Dreamliner, just wanted to know about the aircraft. I have flown a coupleof times to dom rep and also mexico with thomson and it seems some of the fleet are much older than others.

Be fair, Sarah.
The aircraft have to be delivered before they can enter service. 🙂

but they are also have a few of the new Dreamliners on order
And they’ll be charging a £20 supplement per person, per return flight, for the privilege of flying on the thing.

Indeed some of them are a bit aged, some of them are a bit younger, but they are also have a few of the new Dreamliners on order.
I’m not sure when they expect to start to take delivery, but they have already had Boeing staff over going through certain aspects of the new craft.
Where are you flying from?
