I have wanted to see this aircraft for a long time. The main wheels collapsed on landing at Shetland during the 1980s and it was more or less abandoned at Sumburgh until fairly recently when it was dismantled and transported the entire length of the Shetland mainland to the owners croft.
The elements have not been kind to it, there is a lot of salt spray at Sumburgh and you can see the damage that it caused.

Absolutely unique and according to Wikiaedia there is only one other left and that’s at Le Bourget.

One would have to wonder what the intentions of the owner were when he decided on this project!
