A Very Long Sector

Hello, everyone.
In July, I shall be travelling Down Under to visit the whanau (family for those of you who do not speak Maori) and, as ever, looked for the most exciting combinations of aircraft to fly on, while not allowing things to get needlessly complex (i.e. expensive).
I have settled on Emirates for the whole LHR-DXB-SYD-AKL-DXB-LHR trip, on account of their lovely new aircraft, their reputation and the fact that I’ve never flown them before and like variety. I will be flying the A380 for most sectors apart from one (AKL-DXB) on a B777-300ER.
What really interested me was the length of the DXB-SYD and AKL-DXB sectors. I recall a recent thread in which the world’s longest sectors were discussed and think that these, at around 16 and 19 hours respectively, must be among the longest. I’ve done 14 hours on an A380 before, but these are something else altogether.
My reason for posting is to ask if anyone else has flown these sectors (or similar ones in terms of length) and to read what their experiences were. I am expecting to be doing a lot of walking up and down aisles to keep the exercise up and to pass the time, and I wonder how many meals I will be served.
Detailed trip reports will be posted in good time but all contributions in the meantime will be gratefully received.:)
