I am trying to replace the blades on my helicopter but don’t have the box and there is no identification on it.
Can someone tell me what the make and model number is please?
Thanks
Tony

A cheap choice – with quality to match but fun is a small hubsan quad with a key chain camera on.
I have been looking at this option. As a start, and filming around my garden on still summer’s evenings, I think this could be a winner.

there is one model zone did which was very small with built in camera very good little thing capable of flying outside is quite conditions and you could see the video straight on the remote/ and I thought it wouldn’t work due to the size didn’t think it would be able to cope with the extra weight and if it did take off at all its controls would of been much more slugish

Tony,
Co-axial helis are ok for indoors but anything other than a light breeze outside they are pretty much useless.
Are you looking at trying some shots out or good quality?
A quadcopter or similar would be your best bet – I have tried a 450 size heli with a camera and to much vibration for any real quality shots.
There are several on the market – common at the moment is the DJI Phantom that comes in a couple of versions – the fc40 one has a reasonable camera (downside is that the live feed jerks when recording) that beams to mobile/tablet and runs off common size lipo batteries. There is the vision with a better HD camera – or buy and fit go pro, runs on a lot more expensive batteries though.
Lots of other quads – blade etc that you can fit camera of choice?

Nah. Didn’t work. Didn’t even lift off the ground. Think i’ll get a quadcopter with video camera attached. FPV I think they call it. Anyone tried it?

Well i’ll give it a try. If it doesn’t take off then i’ll know why. 🙂

im not sure that size of helicopter will be able to cope with that much extra weight

Sorry Axel. I just looked quickly.
New blades are now on order. I want to strap my mobile to it and take some aerial video shots.

No there isn’t but there is 9097 stamped on one of the components inside the canopy. I had a feeling it was a Double Horse so it must be a DH9097. Thanks Alex.
