Hi
Can anyone help ?? Friend of mine flew Manchester- Helsinki-Singapore last Friday 20 April, the plane that operated the HEL-SIN sector was older than usual, and Im wondering if they had to get an MD11 out of the hangar, there was a problem with a Turkish Airlines plane blocking the runway ealier in the day, and knocked a lot of flights back. Indeed his MAN-HEL was late, but parking next to the onward longhaul he had no problem. He said in business the config was 2 x 2 x 2, also largish windows, but he doesnt know much about aircraft, so doesnt know type. If it was an MD11, he was a lucky man, flew on the type a few times with Finnair loved them. 🙂

I flew a Cathay Pacific A340-300 once. It wasn’t that old, but seemed it.
A horrible aircraft.

According to libhomeradar.org, Finnair flew HEL-SIN with A340 OH-LQG on 20/04/12.
