The flying display was good but could have been better, more international stuff needed.
I’m not a prop person but I liked the Yaks display.

The Harrier had nozzle problems according to Smashy and Nicey on airshow FM.

On sunday I believe the aircraft went tech early in the day, attempted a display before going tech again and having to return to stand, a shame, but was there no standby airframe available?
Enjoying the pics!

I think it had to cut short on Saturday because the FRA Falcons arrived to do their stuff, it did a full display at the end of the show.

Anyone know why the Harrier display was apparently cut short on both days?

Great pictures there Brit, I hear that this years Waddington Airshow was not that great compared to last year.

Rob. Cracking images squire.
Gawds! Contrition here. Sorry Brittania, went square shaped there. Your images of course. No excuses really, must read who actually posts a thing!
A senior moment there exacerbated by having been at Waddo since 07:00 on Sun and had just returned home (22:00) tired, hot, dehydrated, knackered, etc.
Would still like to use your pic of XH134 finishing its landing if I could. 🙂

LesB – the Canberra shot with the crew watching is an absolute belter! Well done. I must admit, I was in two minds as to whether to photograph it on the Saturday or just watch and soak up the sight and sound. I managed a few shots but they’re on print film, so I’ll have to wait.
I’m also of the opinion that we were standing in the wrong place for this kind of shot!
Cheers for the post!

You should have come down to the Canberra Assoc enclosure, you’d have met more CanMen than you ever imagined there could be. 😎
Oh, and by the way, might steal the shot of your with XH134 landing for my site. Nice capture that. Talk with you later. 😉
One pic I managed to get shows the 39 Sqn ground crew watching the RAF’s oldest pilot demonstrating there’s still life in the RAF’s oldest aircrfat.
