Thanks for the link Newforest. I’ve tried it for UK flights and Kyak works really well. It’s definitely worth searching on Kyak if you need to make a last minute booking. The difference in price between 1st and 2nd place is sometimes as much as 70%!!

“Baggage fee? Pack everything into an onboard carry on.” Mmm, not sure if 2 weeks’ worth of stuff for me, Mrs C and 2 young kids would really fit in an overhead locker. Thanks though, some tips and links I will definitely be looking at.
