Anyone out there got any idea what the pecking order is for engine makers and a listing of who’s got the biggest slice of the cake in supplying to Europe and Americas plane maker’s.(Airliner Industry)

It’s difficult to say, as GE own 50% of CFM, and they have huge market share (based mainly on sales on the 737 and A320,
take a look at the link below, but note, it is based on the active fleet, rather than current sales levels.

Thanks for the reply and info but can you say where CFM stack up in
all of this.Its a hot topic between me and my neighbour who supply’s engines to which air-plane’s and plane maker’s. Thank you again for help on this as it’s a pretty poorly reported subject on the net.
I don’t know why this is but I was just looking for a slice of the cake graph and cant find one anywhere on this subject.:)thanks again

Interesting to see how things change, especially with Rolls currently having a monopoly on the A350 (whilst GE are doing very well with the 777 where they have a monopoly on some versions of the 777)
