Qantas have announced that the A380 that was severely damaged in November 2010 (MSN014), will return to service in March.

makes you think they didn’t want it flying? compared to how fast Thomson fixed their old 767 in situ at Bristol
The 767-300 has broken it’s back several times in the past. They ALMOST have a standard repair for it.
The repair to the wing of the 380 was a far more complicated repair. It would be interesting to find out what the did, big scab patches or replace whole skins? Either way, it’s not a job that you do every day, thank god.
